Q: How do I register?
A: Register online by December 12th or in person on the first day of the conference.
Q: How much does IndyCC cost?
A: $255. If you register online by December 5th at noon EST and pay your $50 deposit the cost is $199.
Q: Are meals and parking included in the cost?
A: Unfortunately, no. You will need to either bring money for your meals or bring your own food.
We HIGHLY recommend bringing snacks and food for breakfast and lunch, most people will eat in the rooms together. Dinner is the time that people really hang out so it would be good to try and go out during this time.
Also, bring money to pay for parking and to tip the hotel housekeepers at the end of the conference ($1 per person per day).
Q: Who is the main speaker at this year’s conference?
A: Mike Erre
Q: Who are the other speakers?
A: Bekele Shanko
Q: Where will we be staying?
A: Everyone will be under one roof: the JW Marriott Indianapolis Downtown.
Q: Do we really have to go through check-in with all of our roommates in order to get our room keys?
A: Yes! All four of you should arrive at The JW Marriott on December 28 and check-in during your specific check-in time.
Ohio & Michigan colleges: 3-5:30 p.m.
We are asking that all Central Ohio campuses try to arrive by 3:00 so that we can all get rooms close to one another!
If a roommate has to arrive late, you could pay the remaining conference cost for him or her and then receive all of your room keys. If this is your situation, be sure to make arrangements to pay for the person or you will have to wait until the person arrives to get into your room.
Q: Where can I park my car?
A: Instructions about parking will be given to you when you arrive at The JW Marriott. We will be parking at the IUPUI university lot. Parking is $19 for the week at IUPUI.
Q: What should I wear to the New Year’s Eve party?
A:“That used to be Cool.”
Don’t be shy! Search through your parents closet over break- anything and everything is FAIR GAME! =)
Q: Besides the main sessions and New Year’s Eve party, what else will there be to do at the conference?
A: First of all, you’ll be staying at an amazing hotel with your friends, so good times should automatically ensue. There will be seminars to grow in your faith, chances to learn about opportunities in Cru, a day of community outreach and more.
Q: What happens on the Day of Outreach?
A: The IndyCC Day of Outreach gives you an amazing opportunity to step out in faith, to be a blessing to others, and to express your faith in a very practical way by going into the Indy community to take boxes of food to those in need. Helping meet people’s physical needs opens doors to helping in their spiritual needs. You’ll get to meet all sorts of people in the city, bless them by giving them food, and share the Gospel with them.
We hope you are able to find all the answers to your many questions, but in case you don’t, be sure to ask your staff person!
